Pursuant to the meeting held on 01.07.2025 at 11:00 am under the chairmanship of the Special Secretary, School Education Department, in his office, for the Criteria for Merit-Based Posting of Head Teachers in Public Schools of Punjab and Provision of Performance Linked Charge Allowance.

The said Head Teacher test App has been prepared for Teachers to check their knowledge with regard to Head Teacher Online Test, which will be held on 22.07.2025 by the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), Lahore. It is mentioned here that this app is not an official app for the Head Teacher Online Test. Use this only to prepare for the test and check your knowledge. This app has more than 500 MCQs taken from PEEDA Act, 2006, Services Rules-2014, Promotion Policy-2010, Punjab Conduct Rules-1966, Punjab Civil Servant (Appointment & Conditions of Services) Rules-1974, TA/DA Rules, Punjab Pension Rules, ACR/PER Rules, Instructions for FTF/NSB & their uses, SMC Policy-2024, Transfer Policy-2024, Revised Leave Rules-1981, Leave Encahsment Instructions, Pedagogy, Dastoor-ul-Amal, Delegation of Powers-2023, Basic Knowledge of IT/Computer Science/MS-Office etc, Use of SIS, HRMIS, Dengue App etc, Functions of SED, PMIU-PESRP, PECTAA etc. For full preparation, you may consult the said rules/policy/acts/instructions, etc.

How to Use this App?

Start the Test:

  • Open the app in a browser.
  • Click the “Start Test” button on the start screen.

Answer Questions:

  • Read the displayed question and four options.
  • Click an option to select it (or press Enter if using keyboard).
  • Selection automatically moves to the next question.

Track Progress:

  • Monitor the timer (20 minutes) and question count (1 of 30).
  • The progress bar shows how many questions are completed.

Complete the Test:

  • Answer all 30 questions or wait until the timer runs out.
  • The test ends automatically, showing the result screen.

View Results:

  • Check your score (e.g., 25/30) and percentage.
  • Review correct/incorrect answers and explanations.

Retake the Test:

  • Click “Retake Test” to restart with 30 random questions.
  • Timer resets to 20 minutes.
